The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia needed fast, easily deployed federation services for their new Office 365 implementation. As a financial institution that falls under GLBA (Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act) regulations, a single sign-on solution that helped to ensure the secure handling of private customer information was essential. In addition to Office 365, they use Zendesk for internal IT support and are evaluating a number of new cloud apps, including Asana for project management.

Today, Citizens Bank employees have secure, single sign-on access to Office 365 and other key apps. Employees logging in from anywhere outside the bank’s network are using Centrify’s two-factor authentication for secure remote access. Users are authenticated and customer data is protected, as required by GLBA.
