SANTA CLARA, Calif. / BRACKNELL, UK. — Centrify Corporation, the leader in Unified Identity Services across data center, cloud and mobile, today announced that it was named Best Security Company of the Year at last night’s SC Awards Europe ceremony at Grosvenor House, London. The accolade recognizes Centrify as the most innovative, established company after it demonstrated a strong product portfolio, continued customer growth, and compelling research and development efforts.

Hosted by SC Magazine, the awards attract hundreds of information security vendors, service providers and professionals operating in the UK and Europe. Winners and finalists for all of the categories were decided by an expert panel of judges chosen by the magazine’s editorial team for their breadth of knowledge and experience in the information security industry.

“SC Magazine’s Best Security Company Award is one of the most esteemed achievements for security organizations and we were up against some fantastic vendors,” said Tom Kemp, Centrify CEO. “We are therefore immensely proud to be recognized by SC Magazine as one of the leading security companies. In the past 12 months we have invested heavily in product development, customer support and our channel partner program to ensure we provide the best-in-class tools to reliably protect data and applications from identity-related risks and attacks.”

Centrify has made big waves in the increasingly complex security industry. The firm introduced new solutions to address the changing economies of enterprise IT and shift to the Internet of Things, and it partnered with Samsung Electronics to provide a key enabling technology for the major corporation’s KNOX mobile solution. These recent moves led to Centrify posting record sales in 2013, maintaining in excess of 97 percent customer retention rate, and its channel revenue contribution almost doubling.
