Co-founder and CEO
Tom Kemp is co-founder and chief executive officer at Centrify. Under his leadership, the company has become one of the fastest growing security vendors in the industry with over 5,000 customers, including more than half of the Fortune 100.
Tom is one of the industry’s most authoritative experts in identity security and was recently selected as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award Finalist in Northern California. He was also recognized as one of the top 100 influencers in identity. He’s regularly featured in Forbes, HuffPost, VentureBeat and other influential publications, and was recently accepted as a member of the Forbes Tech Council.
Prior to founding Centrify in 2004, Kemp held various executive, technical and marketing roles at NetIQ Corporation, Compuware Corporation, EcoSystems Software, and Oracle Corporation. He was also an Entrepreneur in Residence at leading venture capital firm Mayfield and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and History from the University of Michigan.
Co-founder and CTO
Paul Moore is co-founder and chief technology officer at Centrify, where he provides the technical vision for its award-winning software and cloud security solutions.
Prior to Centrify, Moore held executive roles at CA Technologies and Netreon and a variety of software development and consulting positions at Microsoft, Hoskyns Group, BAT, AT&T, Nestle, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, British Petroleum, and Honeywell.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics from the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK.
Co-founder and SVP of Engineering
Adam Au is co-founder and senior vice president of engineering at Centrify, where he oversees all engineering activities. Under his leadership, Centrify has built an award-winning suite of security solutions.
Prior to Centrify, Au founded Netreon, a storage management company acquired by CA Technologies, and Auco, a networking company acquired by Peerless Systems Corporation. In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Au has held senior positions at CA Technologies and Novell.
He holds a BSEE degree from the University of Hong Kong and an MS degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim Steinkopf is chief financial officer at Centrify, where he is responsible for all aspects of corporate finance and administration as the company grows its product offerings and extends its global reach.
Prior to Centrify, Steinkopf held CFO positions at Secure Computing Corporation (acquired by McAfee), SumTotal Systems, Purfresh and Silicon Entertainment. Mr. Steinkopf has also held executive and management positions with Watt/Peterson and Ernst & Young.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Computer Science from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
Chief Marketing Officer
Rhonda Shantz is chief marketing officer at Centrify, where she provides innovative enterprise marketing strategies to extend Centrify’s brand awareness globally. She was recognized by Sirius Decisions in its 2018 Program of the Year Awards, highlighting her integrated marketing achievements across the company’s revenue-generating functions.
Prior to Centrify, Shantz held tech-sector leadership roles at Rocket Fuel, Symantec, and Hewlett Packard. She was a partner and technology practice lead at Porter Novelli, consulting with clients including McAfee, PeopleSoft, HP, Wells Fargo and Qualcomm.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Computer Science from California State University Chico and a Master of Business Administration from California State University Sacramento.
Chief Revenue Officer
Mike Mooney is chief revenue officer at Centrify. He leads global sales and field service operations for the company, including enterprise sales, channel sales, inside sales, systems engineering, customer care and support, and professional services.
Mooney joined Centrify from Imperva, where he was also CRO responsible for worldwide, regional and channel sales, as well as inside sales, sales operations, business development, maintenance and renewal functions. In his three and a half years at Imperva, both the revenue and the value of the company doubled.
Prior to his leadership position at Imperva, Mooney held senior management positions at HP Autonomy, Autonomy, and Verity.
SVP OF PRODUCTS AND CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
Bill Mann is senior vice president of products and chief product officer, where he is responsible for product strategy product management and product marketing.
Prior to Centrify, Mann held various management and product management positions across the software security spectrum at CA Technologies, as well as senior executive positions at Volera, Novell, Juston and Worldtalk. Mr. Mann has also played a lead role in M&A activities, spearheading multiple acquisitions, product introductions and funding drives.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science from Aston University in England.
Rashmi Garde is general counsel at Centrify, where she is responsible for the company’s worldwide legal affairs. Prior to Centrify, Garde held legal positions in public and privately-held companies including general counsel roles at BloomReach, Marin Software and VMware. She was recognized as one of the 2018 Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal.
Previously, Garde served as in-house counsel at Electronics for Imaging (EFI) and as an associate at Fenwick & West and later at Graham and James. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
