The Centrify Suite directly integrates more than 225 Linux, UNIX and Mac systems with Active Directory. This section provides information on additional Active Directory integration solutions for popular open source tools, third-party utilities and products such as storage systems, as well reporting and other Centrify tools. Some are available to customers and those evaluating the Centrify Suite as downloadable packages, and others are provided as application notes that show how to configure DirectControl-managed systems to leverage Active Directory services.
Even though desktop and server management via Group Policy started as a Windows concept, solutions such as DirectControl enable customers a way to achieve better interoperability between both Windows and Linux systems.
