Centrify Increases Market and Technology Leadership

600 Enterprise Customers, 150 platforms, technology innovations

Mountain View, CA - Centrify Corporation has reached several major corporate and technology milestones that reflect Centrify's market and technology leadership in Microsoft Active Directory-based auditing, access control and identity management solutions for non-Microsoft platforms. More than 600 enterprises have purchased Centrify solutions and are running it on the more than 150 platforms that Centrify supports, including Linux, UNIX, Mac, web applications, databases and ERP systems. Since 2007, the company has doubled its R&D investment, expanded its presence in Europe, increased its channel partners, added OEMs and has licensed its solutions worldwide.

  • Added 100 customers in the 100 days ending September 30, establishing an extraordinary pace of adoption for its solutions and raising the customer count to 600.
  • Announced Centrify Suite 2008 (see related press release "Centrify Introduces Centrify Suite 2008, Industry's Most Comprehensive, Active Directory-Based Solution for Cross-Platform Identity and Access Management) the first integrated suite of authentication access control and auditing solutions. Centrify Suite 2008 includes DirectAuthorize, the first Active Directory-centric, role-based access control for UNIX and Linux.
  • Added support for Mandriva Linux bringing the total number of supported platforms to over 150.
  • Extended Mac smart card support for single-sign on to Active Directory. Increased Mac security with Finder lock controls from Group Policy. Streamlined Mac installation.
  • Achieved SAP-certification of Centrify DirectControl Suite for integration with the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform.
  • Joined McAfee Security Innovation Alliance, extending enterprise security management.
  • Co-developed the Centrify Expert Webinar Series with Gartner an informative webinar series on the issues of cross-platform compliance and security.
  • Co produced with Enterprise Desktop Alliance a webinar demonstrating Windows-based management of Macs.
