As a provider of applications to financial institutions to support online banking, Yodlee is very sensitive to ensuring the security of their clients' data. Proving that they have the rigorous controls expected by their customers became cumbersome, and the solutions available had not enhanced the security.
"DirectAudit looks to be an important addition to our system security, and we expect it to improve our ability to show how we comply with regulations," said Manohar Nayak, senior security architect at Yodlee, Inc. "Searching logs for a specific action by a specific administrator on a specific system would be difficult and time-consuming without DirectAudit's query, reporting and playback capability."

Nayak says the alerting capabilities in the software also let Yodlee configure the software to provide notifications when particular events are happening in the network.
"Previously we had a lot of manual processes to make those things work. There was a lot of overhead. DirectAudit and DirectControl make those tasks simpler," says Nayak.
With Centrify DirectAudit, Yodlee now has increased security and the ability to prove it to customers and regulatory agencies.
