Centrify to Host Three-Part Webinar Series on Identity Management Featuring Gartner Group

As part of our continuing education series on leveraging Microsoft Active Directory for cross-platform Identity and Access Management to enable strengthened IT security and regulatory compliance, Centrify is pleased to announce a three part webinar series featuring Gartner Group analyst Perry Carpenter. This is really exciting to add noted analyst firm Gartner Group to our ongoing "Experts" webinars, and is representative of our desire to provide high quality educational content on Identity and Access Management free to our customers and prospective customers. In the past we have had speakers from partners such as Apple discussing how Centrify can add value to their platform, so it is nice for our customers to hear from analysts to get a higher level view of the market.

The first webinar in the series in entitled "Beyond Logging" and discusses why conventional auditing approaches are not sufficient to meet a growing number of audit and compliance requirements. Namely, scraping and consolidating events logs is not sufficient to meet many audit requirements, organizations must also track who is doing what on which systems, and the results of unauthorized actions must be known. The second webinar is entitled "Beyond Authentication" discusses why simply authenticating UNIX, Linux and Mac systems back to Active Directory is not sufficient to establish that systems are truly secure. Namely IT security and compliance best practices call for fine-grained access control and authorization to ensure that access to critical systems and authorization to perform certain actions is limited to those whose business roles require it. Last but not least the third webinar is "Simplified SSO for Web and ERP Applications." This online webinar will focus on discussing how you can leverage Active Directory-based Single Sign-On to address security and compliance for Web (e.g. Apache, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.) and Enterprise Applications (e.g. SAP).
